Medical Evacuation Bus for Kharkiv

A fully equipped medical evacuation bus is being delivered from the UK to Kharkiv to support frontline patient transport and emergency care.

Volunteers for Ukraine is supporting the delivery of a converted medical evacuation bus, in partnership with Macclesfield Ukrainian Aid (MUA), to Kharkiv Military Hospital. Equipped with 7 stretcher beds and 18 seats, the vehicle will be used to safely transport wounded and vulnerable patients from frontline areas to medical facilities. VfU is contributing to logistics and fuel costs to ensure the bus reaches Ukraine and becomes operational quickly.

Medical evacuation bus for frontline care

  • A fully converted medical coach is being delivered to Kharkiv Military Hospital to support evacuation and patient transport.
  • The bus is equipped with 7 stretcher beds and 18 seats, allowing for both critical and non-critical patient movement.
