VfU proudly supports the continuation of the Dignity in Action program, providing support and community programs in Zhytomyr.

“Our center provides social and psychological support to young people and their families in conditions of active warfare. We conduct master classes, informal education training sessions, social campaigns, and provide psychological support to families who have lost loved ones, those who are missing in action, and those who are in captivity. Special emphasis is placed on families with children with neuro-developmental disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and various genetic diseases.”

Focus on kids with disabilities

The program provides support for children with developmental and neuro-developmental conditions, including autism spectrum disorders and other genetic conditions.

Focus on families who’ve lost family members or been in captivity

The program offers psychological support to families navigating loss, uncertainty, and trauma, including those with loved ones missing in action or held in captivity.
Through counseling and community-based support, families are given space to process and rebuild.

Art therapy in the heart of Zhytomyr

Creative programs, including art therapy and workshops, provide young people with a way to express emotions and process their experiences.
These activities help build resilience, encourage connection, and create moments of normalcy in difficult circumstances.
